01 · Brand design
Build a credible identity in a volatile space
I created the DeFi Returns identity to give a technical financial product a clear, coherent and immediately recognizable presence.
The work started with the logo: a compact symbol designed to remain recognizable in an interface and as an application icon. I then built a palette around a bright purple on deep tones and defined how the identity could extend to editorial material, social media and mobile.
02 · Product design
Turn financial data into a readable comparison
I then translated the identity into a product experience for selecting assets and protocols and comparing their historical returns over time.
The design work covered information architecture, data hierarchy, filters, chart reading and comparison states. The visual system had to preserve the density required for analysis without turning the interface into an unreadable dashboard.
Connect figures to time
Charts, legends and tooltips allow people to inspect differences without losing the wider view.
Preserve useful density
The hierarchy separates selection, results and secondary actions without hiding the depth of the data.
Protect comparison on mobile
Filters and the legend reorganize around the chart to preserve its use on a narrow screen.
